Initiatives that stimulate analysis and imagination only contribute to personal development. That is why we seek ways to build immersive contexts, and the technology of Augmented Reality is our great ally. With it, it’s possible for the virtual world to be integrated to reality, allowing interaction between the two, opening new possibilities to perform tasks and interact with scenarios and objects that were far away before. AR uses markers, webcam or smartphones to insert virtual objects in a physical environment, in real time, besides allowing interactions with these objects.
Practicing is by far one of the best ways to learn something, but sometimes it is difficult to reproduce certain environments or scenarios, especially in such a reliable way. However, Virtual Reality came exactly to create this connection, being an interface that allows us to visualize other environments through interactive glasses and, here at Movidaria, we believe in technology as a mediator of the learning process. With it you can digitally create any environment and view it as if you were in it. Among the main applications of virtual reality, we can highlight the simulation of situations that involve high cost (such as displacement of several people or environmental damage) or risk (health or safety).
Infographics and One Page
When you search for content or a subject on the internet, you may be attracted to texts that are diagrammed/ordered in a structured way and that highlight the most important information, and even if the design is connected to the content. And that’s very good! In fact, visuals help in the process of reading and absorbing content, so we appreciate that the materials of Movidaria are visually attractive and structurally well organized. Thus, we believe that materials such as infographics and one pages, whether physical or digital, contribute to the learning experiences, and serve as backup to provide continuity and support in this process.
Learning on the move is indeed a very common practice these days. We are immersed and with various stimuli in our thoughts trying to learn something. As drivers of learning, we at Movidaria have adopted some objects that support this process, among them, the podcast. The podcast is a way of transmitting information by means of group discussions, or through interviews with experts, allowing flexibility in following the content, easy access and archiving of information, and bringing experts closer to learners.
The way in which education has been reinventing itself through technology has brought many benefits; among them, what stands out most is the possibility that professionals have to adapt their learning process, which can happen at any time, place and speed that best suits them. Movidaria believes that the learning movements are exactly like this, flexible and diverse, and that the support of contents that drive this learning only adds value. Therefore, we have developed a series of digital objects, such as guides, PDFs, mobile content, among other instructional resources, capable of helping in the learning process, such as links to websites, videos, pop-ups, GIFs, surveys and other digital formats that facilitate consultation at any time.
One of the most popular forms of communication is video, because the Internet has made it possible for this format to become increasingly present in people’s lives. But one specific type of video has been driving people’s learning through an immersive and exciting experience: interactive video. Interactive video is composed of several scenes structured in a decision-making format, where the viewer is responsible for interacting through questions and answers so that the story continues. This format is great for structuring possible scenarios that the mentee needs to experience, in addition to helping him/her to see how his/her decision influences the process, such as compliance situations, work safety and feedback, for example.
Whiteboard and animations
Who doesn’t like a good story? The one that holds you and makes you reflect for hours… Now imagine this story being told in a visual way? Using multiple ways to transmit content helps in the teaching-learning process, in addition to democratizing the content, transforming them into materials accessible to any audience. For this reason, we have adopted animated videos as our tool to support learning processes. In this type of resource, it is possible to use videos to tell stories, metaphors or even explain sequences of facts and information in a more fluid way and, with them, be able to learn in a less complicated and more agile way.
The impact of the emergence of the Internet on education is something totally exceptional, and the democratization of content has transformed the way people learn. One of the ways to bring knowledge to people is the video lesson, a format adopted by Movidaria with the aim of adding value and diversification to our experiences. With great flexibility of creation, this format allows the content to be explained by an actor/expert, always with the support of illustrations, scenarios, iconography, subtitles and soundtrack. The video lesson is widely used to present concepts and theories, or even more technical content that need more time to explain due to the level of complexity, such as industrial processes, for example.
Gamification is a strategy that proposes to unite the good energy that games bring with education. Going a little further, we believe that this strategy, if combined with learning and technology strategies, can bring unimaginable benefits. For this reason, we have built partnerships that contribute to our experiences, and one of these is Engage. It is a gamified platform that proposes creative and light learning at the same time. This platform allows the customization and management of materials, serving as support in the learning process. In addition, it supports digital actions, facilitates content/curatorship management and collects information to support decision making/diagnosis. The main resources are:
– Avatar customization
– Purchase of items (as a reward)
– Creation of trails, competitions and missions
– Mission activities (videos, links, texts, quizzes, minigames, etc.)
– Points rankings (individual and team)
– Interaction with other participants
– Recognition by means of trophies
What skills and knowledge need to be developed in your organization? This is a far from simple question to answer with precision based on facts and evidence, considering organizations with tens of thousands of people. But have you ever imagined that it is possible to map the level of proficiency in each of these knowledge and skills? For this is possible with Matchmap, a tool that allows mapping and generating accurate indicators based on the practice and observation of peers and managers. Before defining where to invest resources to develop employees, invest in mapping what needs to be developed.
Measurement management and experience
Measuring learning actions is not an easy task. Most of them are in the reaction assessment and little strategic information can be extracted. To reach deeper levels of indicators it takes time and involvement of professionals along with HR and managers and, yes, it takes work. But it is possible to extract intelligence from the learning process and have a dashboard with practical indicators related to it with this exclusive system from Movidaria. What we believe is that the areas of Education and Development can be much more relevant with information and indicators that go beyond just quality.
Endless moves, now!
